Abstract:
〗Formation of NOx and HCl during gasification and combustion of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) was studied in a 4040mmhigh fluidized bed with two different crosssectional area. When temperature is lower than 640℃, chlorine removal by Ca(OH)2 is higher during NaClcontaining RDF combustion in the fluidized bed. HCl concentration in flue gas significantly increases with temperature increase because of enhancement of decomposition reaction undergoing chemical reaction balance of CaCl2. Higher oxygen content in flue gas and higher nitrogen content in the RDF result in higher NOx emission.
