Abstract:
Ni-Sm
x/SiC (
x=0, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 7%) catalysts were prepared by impregnation method, and the performance of catalysts for carbon dioxide reforming of methane were tested in a fixed bed reactor. The catalysts were characterized by BET, ICP, XRD, H
2-TPR, TG-DTA, XPS and TEM. The results showed that Ni-Sm
5/SiC had excellent catalytic activity and stability, and the least amount of coke deposition. The addition of samarium effectively enhanced the interaction of metal active component and support, and reduced the formation of coke and therefore improved the catalyst stability.
