Abstract:
The BiVO
4/SBA-15 catalyst was prepared by post-hydrothermal method and characterized by XRD, SEM-EDS and N
2 adsorption-desorption; its performance in the photocatalytic oxidation desulfurization was investigated in a homemade static desulfurization reactor. The results indicated that the BiVO
4/SBA-15 catalyst presents mesoporous pore structure of SBA-15 molecular sieve and BiVO
4 is evenly dispersed on the SBA-15 surface. The BiVO
4/SBA-15 catalyst exhibits excellent activity in the photocatalytic oxidation desulfurization; for the desulfurization of a simulated diesel fuel over the BiVO
4/SBA-15 catalyst with a BiVO
4 loading of 15%, hydrothermally treated for 18 h and calcined at 530℃ for 3 h, the desulfurization rate reaches 95.6%.
